Materials list from Laura which you will need…

Oil pastels - I use a combination of different oil pastel brands ...

Sennelier oil pastels - they are creamy and lovely to work with but quite expensive. Some colours which i use a lot are - naples yellow, rose ochre, olive green, moss green, cinnabar yellow brown, cold grey, orange ochre, terracotta, grey green, mummy, titanium buff.

Pentel oil pastels - i use a more affordable student palette alongside the sennelier pastels. I use the 50 pentel oil pastel set. I love this combination as they are waxy and great for making hard and fine lines alongside the Sennelier pastels.

Paper - Bring coloured pastel paper. I like Claire Fontaine papers, the Pastelmat range is perfect for oil and soft pastels. It is a velvety texture and a wonderful surface to work on. Canson and Fabriano also have lovely papers.

Low tack masking tape - I like to create a border when i'm using pastels on paper. If you would like to try this, low tack masking tape is a good option and doesn't damage your paper.
